KN Baits & Flies at Local Fly Tying Workshops – January 2026

January 2026 is a time of meetings for me with people involved in fly tying and fly fishing in my local region. In the coming days, I will be taking part in two fly tying workshops organized by communities closely connected with local rivers.

3rd International Fly Tying Workshops – January 10, 2026

On Saturday, I will be one of the invited guests of the 3rd International Fly Tying Workshops, organized by the PZW Żywiec Miasto Angling Club.

Location: OSP Fire Station, 34-340 Przyborów

The workshops have a clearly hands-on and practical character. Fly tying demonstrations will be presented by the invited guests, including a fly tyer from the Czech Republic. After the main demonstration part, a more informal session is planned, focused on discussions about techniques, materials, and real-life experience from local rivers. Participants from other parts of the country have also announced their attendance.

One week later, on January 17, 2026, I will take part in another fly tying workshop, organized by:

Friends of the Olza River Association
Friends of the Rudawa River

Location: Gościniec nad Olzą, Cieszyn

These workshops are not only local in character. They are organized by two very active groups from Cieszyn and the Kraków area, both strongly involved in river conservation and fly fishing. The meeting focuses on practical aspects of fly tying, and participants from other regions of Poland have also announced their attendance.

Why do I take part in these workshops?

Taking part in such meetings is an important way for me to stay in close contact with other fly tyers and anglers from the region – many of them are simply good friends. The knowledge and observations gained during these workshops will have a direct impact on the further development of the offer available in the KN Baits & Flies shop.

After the events, a detailed workshop report will be published – including photos and practical conclusions. I am already looking forward to this great time.
